Dear 18 Year Old Me

I've seen this floating post around on Twitter and I think it's such a good idea. So I thought I would jump on the band wagon and do it.  If you are wondering I'm 21 so this is a letter to myself 3 years ago.

Dear 18 Year Old Me,

Them so called friends and best friends you have whilst at school, won't be there after you get your new job at Tesco's. They will drop you like a fly because you are now working unsociable hours. So you will reflect on whether they were true friends whilst you were around them.

The boyfriend you are dating, you know the one that would buy new things to keep you around. You will find the balls to dump him to make yourself happy for once. Don't stay with someone because you could click your fingers and get what you want.

When you start your at your new work place you will make lots of new friends but one particular guy will catch your eye. His name is Tristan. Tristan will ask you out after a few days of going on dates. He will go out his way to see you almost everyday whilst your at work. Tristan will be the breath of fresh air into your life. He will take you to Spain for a holiday because he doesn't like the fact that you've never left the country before. His true gentleman. He makes the promise of having at least one date night a month, which he actually sticks by. He will be the pain in the arse that you love to the moon and back. He makes you laugh, and his cheeky smile will get you every time. Almost 3 years into the relationship and you will still get butterflies when you see him.

You should of got back into your badminton career when your back became better. When you retired your badminton racket at age 17, you were so emotional. Badminton was a large part of your life, remember having 3 to 5 training sessions a week and competitions after work on the weekend. If you were good enough for Kent trail outs then you should go back to playing badminton, you were fantastic at it.

You will start blogging and this will open up so many opportunities for you. You will meet so many new people and you will gain confidence that you never thought you would ever have.

See you guys soon!

Nivea Face Creams

Hello there! I hope you are all well and good. I launched my YouTube channel the other day and during my first video which was a mini haul I spoke about these 2 Nivea face creams and here's a little update about how the products are working etc.

This product I would love to say it works and it's the best but unfortunately it's not. At least in my opinion it's not. It's definitely not something that is heavy duty enough for the winter time on my skin because it's not moisturising enough in my opinion. I've been using this face moisturiser as a hand cream... haha! oh well!

Now this day cream is definitely a stronger moisturiser helps with my skin so much. It's definitely deep moisturiser and helps with my skin. I love the fact that it's designed for sensitive skin because my skin is sensitive and fragile. Plus it has SPF 15 so my skin has that bit of protection that it needs even though it's the middle of winter.

Both these products were on offer when I brought them and they were on offer between £2 & £3 which I think is a really freaking good.

Until next time!

Where I'd Love To Travel In The World

With the rain drops running down the window and the wind blowing the trees from side to side. I'm inside with a cup of hot chocolate day dreaming about all the places in the world I would love to visit.

I would love to visit the Maldives! It's definitely an dream of mine to go there. I've never seen the sea so turquoise blue before. I feel like it would be one of those holidays that it would be a once in a life time trip. Just look at the picture below, don't it look a dream.

I would love to go to the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. This place that has geothermal spas there and they interest me so much. It just looks like heaven!

I would love to go to Dubai, I love how Dubai has built themselves up to be what they are over the last 25 years. The building and the views out there look amazing out there.

These are just a few places I would love to visit in the world. Where would you like to visit in the world?

What I've Learned In My First 4 Months of Blogging!!

Hello! Thank you for returning to my blog or if you are new here then thank you for taking the time to have a nose into my little corner of the internet. Anyway today's post is going to be about what I have learned in 4 months of blogging. Today, the 18th January marks my 4 month anniversary since launching my blog back in September 2015. I've learned loads in them 4 months. I do know that I have so much more to learn. I'm still a newbie to this world.

- Communication & interaction. Communicating & interacting with your followers will help you so much. Showing that you are interested in others helps you gain friends as well as followers. Leaving blog comments is vital as well. Leaving blog comments shows people who you follow you are a keen follower and you take time out of your day to read peoples posts. Join in on chats that happen on Twitter, there are so many to choose from. There's #bbloggers chat, #thegirlgang, the #lbloggers chat. There's so many to choose from that I can't list them all.

- Don't compare yourself to other bloggers. Focus on your own blog, YES you can look at other bloggers but use them as an inspiration or for ideas. Use the ideas you get and tweak them to suit your blog. Don't full blown copy them because it will make you look like you haven't got a creative bone in your body.

- Using the correct hashtags or RT groups that make sense with what your posts are about. If you are someone who has just posted a beauty post then you don't want to hashtag life bloggers or even parent bloggers. You are wanting to attract the correct audience.

- If you are taking blogging seriously then you want to make it a brand, so buying a domain name could be one way of doing this. Another way would be to make yourself look more professional with your blog headers, social buttons and other java script add ons. I have yet to buy a domain name however I can see the benefits of doing it!

- Make your "About Me Page" something that shows your personality. There isnt nothing more boring than reading someone's about me page and it is like this "I'm 22 years old and I'm a fan of cats." For instance you could write something like this instead "Some people call me the crazy cat lady however I prefer to be called a cat enthusiast, makes me sound less crazy. Haha!"

There are a few things I've learned over the first 4 months. What have you learned since you've start blogging? Let me know below!

Before you go.. I thought I would let you know that my beauty giveway is still running. If you haven't entered into it and you want to win, then click here.

 Until next time!

My Retail Pet Peeves!

I love shopping and I love the experience of it all however there are so many pet peeves I have when I'm shopping that I feel like sharing some of them with you guys.

I hate it when retail workers as whether 'you are okay' and 'is there specific you are looking for today' as soon as you walk through the door of the shop. I hate this so much. It actually puts me off shopping in certain shops because of their sales people that are all over you. I know it's their job however they really do annoy me. I try to be polite but it doesn't always work though.

Those people that have a loads of stuff in there basket and then they decided that they want something else. So they  leave their stuff at the till and walk off to find what they are after, and then 10 hours later they come back to the till. As well it always seems to be when 1 till is open.

Talking about only having 1 till open. Why do shops only have 1 till open when every man and it's dog are out shopping. What makes it worse is that the retail workers know the queue is getting busy but they just don't bother getting onto the till or asking someone whether someone else can jump on it.

Those retail workers that are one the till or filling the shelves and they are chewing their chewing gum like a bloody camel. I hate it when I'm having a conversation with a worker and they are standing there talking to me whilst they are chewing gum. It aggravates me.

Those girls working on the beauty counters in stores and it looks like that they have just rolled their face in makeup on the counter. You know the ones I'm about. They stand there all orange, badly done fake eyelashes and hair pulled back so tight it could give them a face lift. They always seem to be really snobby or stuck up. They put me off going into stores because they look at you like you can't afford anything.

These are just some of my pet peeves. What are yours let me know below!

Before you go.. I thought I would let you know that my beauty giveway is still running. If you haven't entered into it and you want to win, then click here.

Valentine Day Date Inspiration

It's coming to that time of year where the love and relationship is pushed down our throats. I know that some people aren't into the whole buying things just for a day.

I personally love the whole thing of Valentine's day. I love taking part within it because I can't get moaned at for buying things for Tristan!

I love doing things for Valentine's Day because it creates memories.

- Do the traditional, going out for dinner. Maybe switch it up and go for lunch or even breakfast. Go somewhere that you or your partner love.

- Pair up with another couple and go out for dinner or go somewhere.

- Do a cooking class. I love nothing better than cooking with Tristan, it helps with communication and it always ends in laughter. For instance Tristan and I were cooking duck pancakes we set everything up and put the cooker on, set the timer and then walked out of the kitchen. Come back when the timer went off and it turned out we never but the duck in the oven. It was a fail on our part but it made us laugh.

- Food or Drink tasting classes. There are so many out there that you could sign up for. It something that you could tweak to your taste.

- Escape to somewhere. A lot of people will be getting away during the Valentine's weekend. There are plenty of places to escape to within the world. I live in the UK and I love to escape to the countryside. I love Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Hampshire area. It isn't too far away from my house but time just slows down and its so peaceful.

- Go out and connect with nature. Going for a walk within the local nature reserves or along the river or even going to a zoo. I personally love the thought of looking at the nature.

  - If you are wanting to do something on a budget then maybe a movie night in, or a gaming night (console or board games). I do love playing on the Xbox with Tristan and attempting to play games, even though I'm absolutely useless at it. haha! At least I try.

- Going to the cinema, bowling, ice skating or to the arcades. I do love a good trip to the cinema then followed up by a bit of bowling. I do love a bit of friendly competition. Tristan and I always get competitive with each other when it comes to bowling. Tristan is the person that always gets strikes and spares however I do sneak up from behind and win once in a blue moon.

- Dancing lessons is something that you can sign up to and it can be a laugh. If both of you have 2 left feet then you could just the time laughing at how bad you are together.

Well that's just few ideas of what you can do with your partner.

I launched a giveaway the other day, so if you haven't seen that blog post and you want to enter then, click here.

Until next time
