Well That's September

September has been a jam packed month. I launched my blog, which launched on the 18th of September. I spent a couple of days creating blogs and coming up with ideas for the future blogs.

As I say, I'm just a girl with a camera and a laptop, writing about things that interest myself and hopefully you guys as my readers. I would love to know anyones feedback about my blog, how I can improve it.

~

Tristan and I went and saw Hitman: Agent 47 at the beginning of the month as a date night and all I'm going to say is that its a fantastic. I haven't seen the old hitman movie and I was told by friends that, that one wasn't very good. So I was very optimistic about this movie but this one is brilliant. I think they have left it on an ending where they can take the movie in so many different angles. If they are making a sequel to this movie I will definitely will be see it.

~

This month has also included a week off from work. Where my other half and I have packed as much as we could into it. It started off with a relaxing day where Tristan took me out for breakfast and lunch and a relaxing evening walk.

We tried a new restaurant that we haven't used before, in Wateringbury, Kent, it's apart of the Chef and Brewer chain. When we got there it was very quiet, there was only a few people in the restaurant. For lunch and I had a pulled pork sandwich served with chips and no word of a lie, I think my sandwich was like 2 to 3 inches thick. The sandwiches we had were made with freshly cooked bread which they had cut thickly. Tristan orders a chicken and bacon sandwich which looked just a nice as mine. I will definitely be going back there and I would recommend it to anyone who lives locally to it or is visiting the area.

~

We also went out clubbing into Rochester for my brothers birthday on the Saturday. We also when to Colchester Zoo which is over 160 mile round trip away. Where I got to feed the animals whilst there and managed to get this brilliant goat selfie.

Left: Clubbing for my brothers birthday | Middle: GOAT SELFIE! | Right: Chinese Garden at Colchester Zoo.
We also celebrated my mum's 60th birthday with her after she came back from Germany. She's a amazing woman with so much wisdom. As I say your mum is also the woman you look up to in life no matter what.

We also went and saw American Ultra in the cinema. I absolutely loved this film, it has a brilliant story line which held my attention for the length of the movie. I can't get over the fact that Mike which is the character that Jesse Eisenberg, killed someone with a spoon. Eisenberg plays the character so well. I would recommend anyone to go and see it or get it on DVD when it comes out.

We spent the last couple of days of our holiday relaxing playing xbox and watching movies because of the fact that I came down with a snotty cold which made me just want to stay in bed.

~

The 25th was payday for us, so Tristan took me out for dinner. We always do something the night of payday, whether it's cinema or dinner. We went back to the Chef and Brewer in Wateringbury which we first tried whilst we were on holiday but went for dinner. The food of a evening is amazing! I must say it was so fulfilling and tasted fantastic. Both Tristan and I ordered the Rib and Pulled Pork for main and I haven't been more shocked about the size of meal before until now. The rib was massive, I do have a photo but it isn't the best quality considering it was bad lighting and I was trying to take the photo on the sly. This meal was fantastic I would order this again and recommend it to anyone. The meal was served with sweet potato fries, sweetcorn and salad.

It looks dry in the photo, but it had been slow cooked for 8 hours and was so juicy and tender.
Left Photo: A little selfie from our date night! Mwahhhh! Right: Bunch of my favourite flowers brought by my favourite man! I love my lillies!

Tristan and I went out with 15 friends from work for dinner at the Buddha Belly which is located in Maidstone. Buddha Belly is a restaurant which is a buffet style restaurant that supplies food that is from Europe all the way to the far east. It's a pick and mix buffet which I loved, they have something for everyone. I'm not one for hot spices so I stayed cleared of the Indian food. It was amazing, I would recommend it to anyone. It was £15.95 per person for all you can eat, which is a good price.

~

I decided to play around with my hair one day and I remembered watching Zoella's tutorial on how to do Half Up-do Top Knot. So I decided to have ago and rock this look whilst out shopping and doing old jobs. I think it's a good hair do for casual day out as well as for going out in the evening.

Well that's everything for this month, it has been brilliant I've throughly enjoyed this month and can't wait for October to begin. Let me know what you've been doing this month down below! Until next time..

September Empties

These are the beauty empties from the last month, I've been storing them away for this blog.
I have a range of products. So let's get right into this.

Treaclemoon Marshmallow Hearts

This product is a big hit in my eyes. It smells divine and like you've just opened a bag of marshmallows. This product is both a bath and shower gel and is a good quality product. It's sold at Tesco for about £3 but is often on a deal where it's sold for £2.

Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Foaming Face Wash

This product I have raved about on my September Beauty Buys which you can see here! Since because I've spoke about this I'm not going to go into too much depth but this product is amazing and has helped with my skin so much.

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner

I must say how good does it feel when your shampoo and conditioner finish at the same time. oh yeah this happened to me this month! oh yeah!

This shampoo & conditioner is very hydrating on the hair. My hair can at times be very dry and feel damaged but it's as if it revives the hair. This product is a great shampoo & conditioner within the Herbal Essences range, it smells lovely a bit coconutty but nothing too over powering. I would recommend this too everyone, if they are needing a shampoo & conditioner that is hydrating.

Garnier Ultimate Blends Silky Smoother Polishing Scrub.

Oh my god, this product is amazing on the hair. When your squeeze this product out the bottle it's a bit like a a face scrub because this product has beads within it. Once you've squeezed all the excess water out of your hair, place the product onto your hair and have a fairly nice amount on there. Massage the product into the hair and it transforms your hair from being dull and damaged to healthy, soft and just beautiful. I personally use this on my product once a week to help my hair. I would recommend this to anyone who is needing something to revive there hair and help with the condition of it. I have really long hair and its always needing up keep on it. I wish I could be one of these girls that has shorter hair and use hair extensions, however shorter hair in my opinion doesn't suit me. Brilliant product.

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer - 01 Ivory

This concealer is a nice and it goes on well and has fairly good coverage. It's a good shade for me when I have a tan but unfortunately my tan lasts about 2 minutes. This is something that I would recommend to anyone who has slightly darker skin than myself. It's long lasting but doesn't last as long as the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I will repurchase this next year when I'm slightly tanned. This is something that I'm planning on taking when going on holiday next year.

These are my empties for September. What are your empties for this month?

until next time..

September Beauty Haul

Hello guys, welcome to my corner of the internet I like to call Blogobvious. If you had guessed by the title already, this blog is about what I've brought this month, beauty wise.

My other half thought it would be a good idea to let me free in town and guess where I ended up.. Yeah you guessed right, Boots. Right lets get into this..

Batiste Dry Shampoo Tropical & Cherry

Every girl knows that dry shampoo is there best friend on them days where there hair just can't be tamed. The 2 scents that I brought are so nice. They aren't over powering and do the job well. I just like them lots and lots! They retail for £2.99 each however boots do have an offer on at the moment which is 3 for 2 across selected haircare, skin and beauty supplements. All I have to add is that you have to make sure you shake the can very well or otherwise you will get white hair.

Loreal Paris Studio Line #TXT Wave Creating Spray

This is something that just caught my eye whilst I was wondering through the hairstyling aisle in Boots. I'm always needing that little extra help when it comes to making my curls have texture when I curl my hair. I haven't used it as of yet so there will be a blog post about that in the near future. This product retails for £3.50.

Loreal Paris Studio Lines Hot & Spray

This is something as well that grabbed my attention that I thought I would try. I usual go for VO5 hair protection products but I thought I would switch it up by going for this. This product is meant to help with keeping hair straight for up to 3 day with little touch up here and there. I found that the product doesn't really help me personally with my hair straight. It's a brilliant protection spray but doesn't do much on the keeping straight. I must add I have the most thickest frizziest/wavy natural hair. Anything can turn it from being sleek and straight to frizz and making me look like cousin it, out of Addams family. I personally think it would work better with someone who has fairly straight hair or on someones hair that is thin. This product retails at Boots for £3.79.

Boots - Tea Tree Witch Hazel Foaming Face Wash

This product is brilliant, I have brought this one to replace the one I have just finished. I have problematic skin, face demons are the worst thing in the world. This has helped me so much with my skin. The tea tree and witch hazel helps to deeply cleanse and keep the skin refresh  and face demon free. The product smells fantastic and only have to use 2 pumps per use. When you pump the product it goes from being a liquid to a foam which is nice. I have used brands like Proactiv which are an arm and a leg compared to this product that retails at £3.59 and this product has nothing on them. The bottle has lasted me about 6 weeks with me washing my face twice a day with it.

Montagne Jeunesse Blemish Mud

This brand of face mask is something that I don't normally buy. I will normally buy the Freeman's face masks from Tesco. However I thought I would switch it up and buy this one for once. I haven't used it as of yet but I will be writing a blog review for this soon. The reason why I brought this is because of the fact that its for problem skin. The aloe vera that is within the face mask should help with keeping the skin cleansed. This face mask retails at  £1 which is really cheap and I think I will be able to get at least 2 face masks out it.

Imperial Leather - Mouthwatering Fruit Salad

I have smelt this so many times whilst I've been shopping in supermarkets but for some reason I have never picked it up until I was in Boots. Probably because I knew I was running low on my Treaclemoon. This smells divine, its smells so much like the sweets. Seriously if you haven't smelt this product nor use it you need to get yourself to Boots to get it. This is so so so purse friend being £1. I will be purchasing more of these in the near future.

Collection - Lasting Perfection Concealer

This is something that is and will always be staple within my make up collection. Everyone who has used this has rated it highly. It's a brilliant quality and coverage and very purse friendly. The way I see it is if it is good enough for Zoella means its good for me. I got mine in 01 Fair because I'm so pale so the lightest shade is the only shade that will work for me. This product sells for £4.19.

Herbal Essences - Moroccan My Shine Shampoo & Conditioner

This is just a basic shampoo & conditioner that I will buy for my other half to use. I personally only use Herbal Essences when I've run out of my own shampoo & conditioner. This is a good shampoo & conditioner compared to there other ones because of the fact that it has Argan oil within it, which help nourishes the hair. This shampoo & conditioner is known for the Vitamin E and carotenes which is blended into it which helps enhance the shine, manageability and shine of the hair. Me being me, I forgot to take pictures of this because its in my shower. However this product retails at £3.50 each.

I brought a DKNY perfume for my favourite chummy, Naomi for her 24th birthday.

Anyway I hoped you enjoyed this blog. What are your recent beauty buys, let me know down below. Until next time..

Lego Land : Jurassic World Review

After putting up with weeks/months of Tristan talking about Jurassic World after seeing it in the cinema as well as him watching multiple programs to do with dinosaurs. Not at least downloading the game into his phone, I decided to purchase the Lego Movie Jurassic World edition for him for his Xbox One.
I've actually sat and played this with Tristan and it's really good. Considering that the game is designed for 7 year olds and upwards it had Tristan (22) and me (20) gripped to it for a few days! We've completed the campaign and now collect all the different people.
The game is based on all 4 Jurassic movies which I thought was a bloody good idea. The way they have linked each section to the next is good. Plus watching the movies over the years it's nice to see them put into gaming form.

I enjoyed the fact that through out the game up done activities that occurred in every movie. For instance in the Jurassic world movie there's the scene of where the kids are in the pods in the field and you can reenact this in the game. As well you can unlock a large amount of the character from all the movies. The dialog of the movies were included within the game, which was an added touch because Tristan is a fan and he thought it was amazing and we were both surprised that it was included within the movies.
I'm not one for usually sitting there attached to the TV screen via a games console but this one kept my attention and I didn't get bored. It's a typical Lego movie style game where only curtain characters can do certain task through out the game.
I would recommend this game to anyone who has kids or just wants to lose themselves in the world of lego and Jurassic World!
See you soon..

Just A Quote

When life is getting tough and all you want to do is bury your head in the sand, just remember this..

"Something's in life you can't control, but controlling your future and your happiness is what is the most important. Don't surround yourself in negativity. Let it go and be free."

This is something that I came up with to make sure that whenever I just want to give up, I will read it and say to myself. It's up to me to make a difference, to create that change, that happiness, that freedom. Negativity is evil and not what we want to have around yourself.

This is just a short post but I hope if you can take anything from this, it will be the quote.
until next time..

Clean & Clear Morning Energy Skin Care Review

Clean & Clear are well known for there skin care products and this product is just a dime in their skin care collection. This duo has a facial scrub and wash, which is a beneficial feature considering that I personally use the wash as a everyday use and the scrub every other day just before going to bed.
Morning Energy Facial Wash (On The Left) | Morning Energy Facial Scrub (On The Right)
This duo of the Clean&Clean collection has been designed for Oily skin and it has no oil within the solution. There are bursting beads within the solution that will gently exfoliate the skin to help lift dirt and revealing fresh clean skin. The added vitamin C with Ginseng helps nourish the skin and helps freshen the skin. The Fragrance is one of a citrus smell which is refreshing and awakens the skin.

The Clean&Clear Morning Energy Wash & Scrub both cost £4 each which is slightly expensive but well worth the cost. The bottle size is 150ml which is a fairly good size and last myself around 8 weeks or more which when you think of it £8 every 8 weeks isn't too bad.

I personally use this product within the hotter months of the year because of hot and sweaty I can get due to the type of work I do. Also the smell is fruity which is just prefect for that time of year.

I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone who has skin problems or not. I suffer with blemishes and spots which is kept under control by using this product. My skin isn't trouble and bad however it can flare up at times.

Until Next Time..

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I'm always looking for new products for my skin for that I can use whilst taking my makeup off. My skin is really sensitive on my face at times, so using some products can cause my skin to become irritated and make me feel uncomfortable. When ever my skin is playing up I always think that everyone is looking at me even though they aren't.

The product retails for £4.99 at Boots for a 400ml bottle!

Anyway, I used this product and it does remove makeup very well. Even though I had to use loads of the product for it to get most of my makeup off. I love the fact that there isn't any perfume in the product so there's no irritants there. It's just like using water! So I call it the Holy Water!

The only thing I didn't like about this product is that when I used it on my eyes to remove eye makeup, it smudged it, more than anything. I had to keep getting a clean cotton pad with the Micellar water on it and keep wiping my eyes loads.

I personally use this product to begin with, then I use a Clean&Clear Deep Cleanising Lotion to make sure that all the makeup is off! I will often wash my face afterwards with a Clean&Clear face wash and exfoliating daily wash to make your my pores are definitely unblocked.

If your looking for a make up removing product that is good for sensitive skin then this is the product for you!

I hope you guys enjoyed this! Please leave a comment below about your experience with this product and what you love or dislike it about it.

Until next time!

Scented Sunday's #1

Hey guys! Scented Sundays is something that I would love to make a regular occurrence upon my new blog. Hmmm what is scented Sunday's all about I my hear you ask. It's where I will let you guys know what scents are filling my home. These will range from candles, air fresheners. reed diffusers and anything else.

Yankee Candles is amazingly beautiful candle producing company that I have ever found. Yankee Candle have such a large range of candles in different sizes such as; large, medium, small jars, tealights, votives, pillar candles and wax melts.
This candle has such a strong fragrances which is what I love because you can light the candle and it will fill the room within its smell within around 10 minutes. The candle is burn for around 30-40 hours.
Yankee Candle Black Coconut - Small Pillar

I must admit that Yankee Candle aren't the must purse friend candles out there however you are paying for the quality of the fragrances and the candles. For the small pillar in the picture above it costs £9.95 for that candle.

I do love the smell of coconut and I found that this one isn't too over powering, its amazing! It's quiet a mild smell in my opinion which is just prefect to have burning away during the day or evening.

I hope you enjoyed this. Please leave a comment below about your favourite Yankee Candle or the name of any candles you guys think I should try myself!

Until next time..

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

Lashes, lashes, lashes, there something that we all have and I personally want mine to be long thicker and fuller. Whilst browsing the shelving of my local boots store, I found this little beauty. The metallic pink packaging is what caught my eye as well as the massive display that they had at the end of the aisle.

I've heard a lot about this product from other bloggers and vloggers on the internet when they are doing there make up tutorials or reviews. So I thought I just have to get it for myself. I can state enough how good this product is. The product makes my eye lashes look fantastic and I don't have to use as much of this product to get an effect that other mascaras weren't giving me. The product is selling within Boots for £7.99, which is a very purse friendly in my eye for such a high quality product.

The brush is brilliant, it gets all the tiny eye lashes that other mascaras struggle to get. This mascara must of be good if it was the Official Mascara of London Fashion Week.

I love this product! I personally can't get enough of it and its amazing results. If you haven't got it, you need to get it.

Until next time..
