My December

Where do I start? December has been a busy month, so many things have happened this month I don't think I could kept track of it all.. So lets jump straight in!

Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Face Mask with Charcoal

I've been really needing a little bit of extra help with my skin recently because of the colder weather that winter has now started to settle in. I've been finding that my skin is becoming dry which is causing myself to have more breakouts.

Now I've always been a massive fan of Boots own brand products, their foaming face wash is just amazing. Whilst I was in there browsing the shelves the other week I noticed this face mask which has active charcoal within it. I've never used a face mask with charcoal however I've heard that the charcoal helps remove dirt and impurities from the pores as well as many other good things.

I must say this is one of the best high street face masks I've ever used! I love it, I do a face mask with this now once a week and on busy and hard working weeks I will do it twice and a week. My skin has improved so much recently, I'm loving it! My makeup is looking so much better because of it.

I would totally recommend this to anyone, it has such a nice texture to it whilst you are putting it on. I found that it doesn't go rock hard where you can't talk or it will crack so you can still have conversations and do day to day activities with it on. It's so easy to take off as well, I used a muslim cloth and warm water to take it off. It doesn't really have a scent to it which isn't a good nor a bad thing.

I would totally recommend it to anyone, it only cost around £3 which in my eyes is a bargain!

Much love..

Kim xx

My Message at Christmas!

It's that time of year when the fat man has come down the chimney and left presents around the tree! I hope you receive the love and the affection that everyone should get on Christmas. These are times to share and cherish, take photos and have the sound of laughter ring through the house whether it's over dinner or a game of chards.

Remember this time of year isn't all about the gifts and the food, to me it's more about the time spent with loved ones. I hope everyone spends as much time as they can with there loved ones.

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

Just stay safe over the festive period and don't do anything silly, like drink and drive. Just stay safe

Much love!

What's In My Bag

Want to know what's in my bag?

I've had my new bag for the last few weeks now and it's full of things I actually need, I was in shock when I discovered it. So lets get into this then, I got my bag from eBay it cost £15.99 and it's got amazing quality as well which I weren't expecting. If you want this bag then click here for the link. The bag reminds me of a Michael Kors bag.

Now lets see what I've got inside my bag!

This is everything that is in my bag. I'm very surprised that I haven't got more rubbish inside it. I'm one of these people that normally carries the world in their handbag.

Anyway, I have got the following things from (Left to right). 2016 planner, pen, sewing kit, Lemsip, mirror, phone, hairbands, Giorgio Armani Si, 2 baby lips lip balm, purse.

My planner is from Tesco's and I'm so glad I brought it a few weeks ago, because I absolutely love the colour. It's A5 size has such a space on each of the days to write stuff down on! The random pen from work!

The sewing kit is always needed, I don't want to be caught short whilst at work. If I rip my trousers whilst at work I want to be able to sew them back up as soon as possible. I don't want to be that awkward person that it happens to at our place!

I have lemsip because I've not been feeling well recently and I've been needing that little extra boost to help me! Even though I hate the taste of it!

I love love love love the smell of this perfume! It smells amazing! The Giorgio Armani Si is such a nice smelling perfume! I personally think it would make a great gift for anyone who is will to spend a little more than usual.

I believe that every woman in there life should have a lip balm within there handbag because to me it's a must have especially at this time of year! It's cold and windy and these are prefect for when you are needing that bit of protection during the colder seasons!

My purse is from Everythingforfiverpounds.com and I brought it around 18 months ago. It's lasted so well and has such good quality for something that one costs £5. It broke only a couple of weeks ago however I haven't found a new purse that has what I'm looking for!

So that is everything that in my handbag! I hope you enjoyed this blog! I will be back in a little bit! Much love!!

The Secret Ness Bay

Whilst on holiday a couple of weeks ago, we decided to stop off a place called Ness Bay in Tiegnmonth, Devon. You have to walk through a little tunnel to find the small bay. It was completely empty whilst we were there. It felt like a small secret hide away, which was very nice. Tristan and I just stood there watching the waves hit upon the shore, it was peaceful and tranquil.

This is Tristan being very cute whilst on the beach! cutie pie!

This was just a little post that I thought I would share with you guys!

The Christmas Tag.

I've been becoming good buddies with a Youtuber called Leah, you might of seen my swap box blog I did with her a couple of days ago. If you haven't then click here to see it. Anyway back to the Christmas Tag! She tag me in her last weeks video of where she spoke about 10 festive questions, so here goes.. grab yourselves a cup of tea or a mulled wine and lets get right in there.

1.What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
My favourite christmas movie would have to be elf, it's so funny and some of the things he does sums me up totally. I'm very much a very festive person. I've gone all out this year at work and decorated our work station and office area! 🎅

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
I've always opened up my presents on Christmas morning! Sometimes, I will give a present to Tristan early if I can't wait till the morning! 😂

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

I don't have one favourite memory of Christmas. All I ever remembering is one year receiving a electric scooter and that was a brilliant year, until I rode it into the front door. But any Christmas that I spent with my dad was a good Christmas due to the fact that he would have to work them due to his job!

4. Favourite festive food?
Tough one either pigs in blankets or sage and onion stuffing balls.

5. Favourite Christmas gift?
The year that received my first proper bike! I remember giving my parents a massive hug. I loved it so much.

6. Favourite Christmas scent?
Yankee Candles Christmas Cupcake. It's sad that you can't get this candle anymore. It's Christmas in a jar at home.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Nope, I don't have one!

8. What tops your tree?
An angel.

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I don't think I ever asked for a weird or extravagant present because I always knew what I could ask for. I joked around asking for driving lessons but I knew I would never get them.

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?
Spending time with the family. We don't often see everyone together throughout the year so Christmas time is the best time of year because I get to spent time with everyone.

Mystery Box Swap With Leah

I am a massive fan of Leah's YouTube channel and have been talking to her for the last couple months via Twitter. When I came up with the idea of doing a collaboration the other week, which she grabbed with both hands. So what we decided to do was to send each other a box worth £30 full of anything which is either, fashion, home or beauty related this is what I got.

When I opened up the massive envelope, I was greeted with the beautiful scent of Canberry Mandarin. I recognised the smell, when I went for a dig around I found where the scent was coming from which was these 2 wax melts from Yankee Candle. It's a very festive smell, which I just love so much. I can't get enough. I just need to buy a wax melt jar now! Thanks Leah I've got an excuse to go shopping now! 😁

I also got a Topshop Lip Bullet in the shade wine. It's a gorgeous shade of colour. It's a berry colour with a red under tone. It's an amazing colour for this season, it could make an makeup look POP if you went for a simple look on the eyes.

I received this Makeup Revolution Run Boy Run palette, I've always looked at this and thought to myself, I will buy this. however I never pick it up whenever I'm in Superdrug. It's a very natural pallets and I'm all about a beautiful natural look. I'm not one for a dramatic eye look because I LOVE LOVE LOVE the natural look on me personally. So I'm totally excited to try this out. Ooo, I might be able to try it for the Christmas work party tomorrow night!

This is my favourite shade in the palette, I do love a good gold eye! I lost the plastic thing that covers the palette and I can't remember what it is called!
I am absolutely in love with this Disney makeup bag! I love the quote that is written on it which is "Do you believe in fairies?" It's a champagne pink in colour. It's a really good size and can hold a lot of stuff! I love it a lot.

I received this pair of earrings and they are from Primark. They look like coins which I think is rather cool to be honest. It's a bit different compared to having just plain studs in. I really do like these!

I can tell that Leah has been keeping up to date with my blog because I spoke about this wishbone necklace on my Coconut Lane post. I love wishbones and the concept of them in general. I love pairing this up with cami top so you can see it. This is something that I love and can see myself in the future wearing very often! It's one of my favourite things within the box.

Leah has sent me one of her favourite nail brands nail varnish! This is the Barry M Glittery Nail Polish in . I think that this colour when its applied as the accented one. Instead of using it on all the nails would look amazing. I'm not the pink girly girl, but this is something that I think looks amazing!

Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVEEEEEE fluffy or cosy socks! Now these little socks are slowly becoming one of my favourites in my collection. However my minion ones are still right at the top though. These ones have a very cute little fox face on them and their little ears stick out a tiny little bit. I really do love these socks. I do have an obsession with socks in general! I always where patterned ones that never match.

I'm one of those girls that always has there hair up in a bun because its quick, easy hair do which it comfortable as well. This hair accessory will be used a lot to add a little jazz to my look in the spring time. I don't think I could get away with this at this time of year, it's bobble hat season. This floral hair band is from Primark as well.

Leah also sent me a box of Mint flavoured Matchmakers which didn't last 2 minutes, I started eating them whilst taking all these photo's. 🙈🙊 She also put a lot of candy canes in the envelope so they will get eaten very soon! I will probably eat them whilst at work!

She also remembered it was my 21st birthday on the 16th and sent me a little birthday which was really sweet of her. Thank you for that Leah! Leah I must say your hand writing is soooooo neat.. sorry about mine! Many thank you again for the christmas card, that will have pride of place where I'm putting them this year, should probably figure that one out soon!

So that was everything that I receive from Leah, you can see what she receive from me on her youtube channel here.

I hope you guys loved this collab with Leah. I've enjoyed doing it. I hope you've enjoyed our little collab. Until next time.
