Blogger Of The Week #3

I thought I would share some of the love within the blogging community. So I've decided that I will do this "Blogger Of The Week" where either once a week or once every 2 weeks I will dedicate a blog post to a blogger that I truly like and love reading their content.

Now my latest 'Blogger Of The Week' is going to the lovely Saph from 'Simply Saph'. She runs a lovely lifestyle & pregnancy blog and I do love her content. 

She is a blogger that will always reply to your tweets and can have conversations about practically anything and everything. We had a couple of tweets between us about Chun Shan of all things. But his pretty cool though. 

I'm super excited to see where her blog will go and develop especially now that her baby boy, Charlie was born a few days ago. I'm sure she will be a brilliant mum. Of the photos I've seen his a little cutie!

My October

It's been another hectic month with gatherings, travelling to London for work, cosy nights in and busy mornings.

The month started off with a traditional selfie with Tristan.

On the 3rd I went out with Tristan, my sister-in-law Nicola and her daughter, my niece, Andi for Tristan's Auntie Tanya's 40th birthday. We met at The Milk House which is located in Sissinghurst, Kent. I've never here before but it was a lovely place to go. The Milk House is a hotel, pub and restaurant all in one. It's very modernised and has a really good up keep. I personally didn't have any food because I had a late breakfast that morning, but the food that came out looked amazing. It's a little bit pricey than what I thought it would be but it's looks like its worth the money.

I've also spent a few days working in London on the 7th & 8th. I've been working in Enfield, helping them get their christmas range out. I love it when I'm able to go travelling to other stores and use my knowledge to help them out. It does give you a sense of success. The only thing I hated doing was the traveling to and from the store because we had to go over Dartford Crossing, which is always busy. We sat in lots of traffic on the second day and we watched the sunrise. 

On the 9th I went to Intu Lakeside which is a massive shopping centre in Essex with best chummy, Naomi. Going to Lakeside meant I had to go back over the Dartford Crossing again for the third time that week. For anyone who lives in the area or has been over it knows it's a pain in the bum during rush hour. We didn't spend too much considering. We went into a lot of shops but many brought within Primark, Boots and B&M. I have done a haul so if you are interested in seeing what I have brought then click here.

On the 12th, I celebrated National Chocolate week by devouring a massive bag of Galaxy counters and a tub of Heroes to myself of course. 🙈

Work has been fun this month, it's been very busy sorting out Christmas and range changes. 

Tristan and I spent some really lovely evenings together being all cosy with the candles lit and hot chocolates in hand. We had a bit of a random selfie moment whilst we were snuggling together. 

I did end up just jumping on Tristan and I can tell now I'm one of those weird girlfriends. You'll clearly tell as you look below.

I've spent a few days taking Lily out for a walks where I've managed to get some beautiful snaps on the wildlife and the outdoors whilst out. It was very autumnal. 

I had a selfie session with Lily whilst I whilst snap chatting Naomi! However Lily was having none of it! 😂

We had a really foggy morning which made me feel like winter is coming soon.

I went shopping to Westwood Cross Shopping Centre in Boardstairs with Tristan on the 23rd. They have got some lovely shops down there, it's quiet far away from where Tristan and I live but it was well worth the trip. We spent way too much money but buying christmas presents for family members is a must. We covered most people in both our families but we still more to buy for! I treated Tristan to Assassin's Creeds new game which was released on the 23rd whilst we were out. I'm the best girlfriend, spoiling him to all the new Xbox games that are coming out.

I've spent a lot of time wrapping all the presents that we have brought. 

I met up with my sister's Jenny, Dawn and Laura, on the 28th which was lovely considering I don't get to see them that often all together! I can't tell you why we met up but we did. I can tell you next month why we met up! eeeek, its exciting! 

On the 30th, Tristan came home from work and told me to shut my eyes because he had a surprise for me. So I shut my eyes and when I opened them he had placed in front of me a Canon 1200D DSLR camera! He said to me that it was an early birthday present! I cried in excitement because I had raved about this and I had put it on my birthday wish list blog which it hasn't been published yet. He gave it to me early so I could use it on our holiday in a few weeks time. 

I snapped this beautiful picture of Lily on my new camera! I love this picture and so does my mother-in-law, Michelle.

About Me

I've been blogging for just over a month now and I thought it would be about time for me to introduce myself and tell you guys a bit about myself and my life. 

I go by the nickname Kim, I'm 20 years old and from a small town called Rochester which is located in the garden of England better known as Kent. I'm a bit of a fruit loop, I will dance around even when there is no music playing, I try to make a laugh out of almost things in life because laughter is contagious. I like to make sure that everyone has a smile on there face at least once a day whilst they are around me.

I'm a Space Ranging Merchandiser for a large retail supermarket chain called Tesco's. My job title makes me sound like a super hero but I'm far from one of those.

I work in one of their warehouse that are dedicated for online shopping. What my job involves is bring new lines into the warehouse and working them into the aisle so you guys as the customer can have them delivered. I sort out the seasonal lines as well into the store which hearing the words Christmas in August is a bit of a bummer to be honest it takes the fun out of Christmas.

This isn't everyone in my immediate family theres siblings missing but my family none the less! 

Family life is very important to me considering that I'm from a very large family. I'm the youngest of 7. I have 3 older sisters and 3 older brothers, I'm a proud auntie to 6 and a step aunt to 4. My older brothers and sisters are very protective and it's very hard to get us all together at anyone time. Our lives are hectic and we are all shift workers so when I see my siblings it's something that I appreciate in life! It's something special. We're not one of them families that live inside each other's pockets. 

My partner in crime and life is Tristan. We've been going out now for just over 2 years. The last 2 years have been lovely, we met whilst at work. Tristan also works for Tesco's just like me. His a kind caring man that knows how to protect and look after me. His got some witty and at times smutty humour which make me laugh and smile. He took me aboard for the first time last year, to Spain, he couldn't believe I hadn't been aboard before and he wanted to change that. We are similar in character but I'm probably the louder one out the 2 of us. His happy to appear in my blog posts and supports me fully in what I do. His has been spoken off and will be mentioned within future posts.

Favourite TV Shows Right Now!

As usual I find myself procrastinating watching TV instead of doing the housework or any other job I should be doing. However my excuse is that I have found some really good TV shows recently that I'm absolutely loving. 

Impractical Jokers - Comedy Central

Impractical Jokers is a TV show that stars 4 friends that have known each other for years and they have to do dares that are set by the other jokers within the group. This show has Tristan and I in fits of laughter, the things they do I wouldn't be able to do or think about doing. They have some whacking great big balls to do some of the things they do. You should really watch it on Comedy Central, I can describe how funny until you've gone and seen it yourself. It is played throughout the day and the new episodes are played on a Friday at around 9.

Bar Rescue - Spike

Bar Rescue is on Channel Spike. Bar Rescue is hosted by Jon Taffer who has worked in the bar industry for many years. He will use his knowledge, experience and specialist team to help improve failing bars within the US. It's a bit like the Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmare but the bar version. It's really good show in my opinion. I personally find that these types of shows so interesting. 

Brickleberry - Comedy Central 

If you are a fan of Family Guy and American Dad you'll probably be a fan of Brickleberry. Brickleberry is very funny with some crude and rude humour mixed in as well. I personally wouldn't watch it with my parents to say the least, because of the type of humour it is at times. Brickleberry is played within the evening time due to the humour and the watershed we have within the UK. 

These are my 3 favourite shows at the moment. I'm really enjoying the TV right now because all the new seasons are coming out in the UK.

Well That's September

September has been a jam packed month. I launched my blog, which launched on the 18th of September. I spent a couple of days creating blogs and coming up with ideas for the future blogs. 

As I say, I'm just a girl with a camera and a laptop, writing about things that interest myself and hopefully you guys as my readers. I would love to know anyones feedback about my blog, how I can improve it.

Tristan and I went and saw Hitman: Agent 47 at the beginning of the month as a date night and all I'm going to say is that its a fantastic. I haven't seen the old hitman movie and I was told by friends that, that one wasn't very good. So I was very optimistic about this movie but this one is brilliant. I think they have left it on an ending where they can take the movie in so many different angles. If they are making a sequel to this movie I will definitely will be see it.

This month has also included a week off from work. Where my other half and I have packed as much as we could into it. It started off with a relaxing day where Tristan took me out for breakfast and lunch and a relaxing evening walk. 

We tried a new restaurant that we haven't used before, in Wateringbury, Kent, it's apart of the Chef and Brewer chain. When we got there it was very quiet, there was only a few people in the restaurant. For lunch and I had a pulled pork sandwich served with chips and no word of a lie, I think my sandwich was like 2 to 3 inches thick. The sandwiches we had were made with freshly cooked bread which they had cut thickly. Tristan orders a chicken and bacon sandwich which looked just a nice as mine. I will definitely be going back there and I would recommend it to anyone who lives locally to it or is visiting the area.

We also went out clubbing into Rochester for my brothers birthday on the Saturday. We also when to Colchester Zoo which is over 160 mile round trip away. Where I got to feed the animals whilst there and managed to get this brilliant goat selfie.

We also celebrated my mum's 60th birthday with her after she came back from Germany. She's a amazing woman with so much wisdom. As I say your mum is also the woman you look up to in life no matter what.

We also went and saw American Ultra in the cinema. I absolutely loved this film, it has a brilliant story line which held my attention for the length of the movie. I can't get over the fact that Mike which is the character that Jesse Eisenberg, killed someone with a spoon. Eisenberg plays the character so well. I would recommend anyone to go and see it or get it on DVD when it comes out. 

We spent the last couple of days of our holiday relaxing playing xbox and watching movies because of the fact that I came down with a snotty cold which made me just want to stay in bed.

The 25th was payday for us, so Tristan took me out for dinner. We always do something the night of payday, whether it's cinema or dinner. We went back to the Chef and Brewer in Wateringbury which we first tried whilst we were on holiday but went for dinner. The food of a evening is amazing! I must say it was so fulfilling and tasted fantastic. Both Tristan and I ordered the Rib and Pulled Pork for main and I haven't been more shocked about the size of meal before until now. The rib was massive, I do have a photo but it isn't the best quality considering it was bad lighting and I was trying to take the photo on the sly. This meal was fantastic I would order this again and recommend it to anyone. The meal was served with sweet potato fries, sweetcorn and salad.  

It looks dry in the photo, but it had been slow cooked for 8 hours and was so juicy and tender.

Tristan and I went out with 15 friends from work for dinner at the Buddha Belly which is located in Maidstone. Buddha Belly is a restaurant which is a buffet style restaurant that supplies food that is from Europe all the way to the far east. It's a pick and mix buffet which I loved, they have something for everyone. I'm not one for hot spices so I stayed cleared of the Indian food. It was amazing, I would recommend it to anyone. It was £15.95 per person for all you can eat, which is a good price.

I decided to play around with my hair one day and I remembered watching Zoella's tutorial on how to do Half Up-do Top Knot. So I decided to have ago and rock this look whilst out shopping and doing old jobs. I think it's a good hair do for casual day out as well as for going out in the evening.

Just A Quote

When life is getting tough and all you want to do is bury your head in the sand, just remember this..

"Something's in life you can't control, but controlling your future and your happiness is what is the most important. Don't surround yourself in negativity. Let it go and be free."

This is something that I came up with to make sure that whenever I just want to give up, I will read it and say to myself. It's up to me to make a difference, to create that change, that happiness, that freedom. Negativity is evil and not what we want to have around yourself.

This is just a short post but I hope if you can take anything from this, it will be the quote.
