Richard Ward Keratin Rehab Review

My hair is my pride and joy. I always want to keep it in it's best condition so when I saw the Richard Ward Keratin Rehab, I was super excited for this goodie. If you didn't know that keratin is what gives hair it's structure as well as the shine that your hair naturally has.

I'm proud to say that this is one of my favourite hair products, I'm going to be very upset when I finish using the pot up. I've been using it now for a couple of weeks and ohhh maa gawdd, it's amazing.

Right all you have to do is shampoo your hair thoroughly, and then apply this product generously from the mid length of your hair to the ends and leave for between 5 and 30 minutes. The longer you leave the treatment on for the better the result will be. I personally leave the treatment on my hair for around 15 minutes, whilst in the shower and I will use the treatment every 10 days or so. The instructions on the pot says that "for best results use every two weeks".

My hair is fairly healthy but with the heat we have had recently I've found that my ends are becoming drier quicker. However since using the treatment my ends of my hair are not drying out. MIRACLE.. Praise the hair lords! My hair is feeling so soft and it's amazing.

I hope you've got some secrets to keep your hair super soft and sassy. If you do, then let me know what your secrets are!

Tips For Smooth Legs

Now the summer is here and those summery dresses and shorts are making there way out of the wardrobe. It's time to make sure that these legs of yours and as smooth as a babies bottom.

Before you shave you should always exfoliate your legs to get rid of any dead and dry skin off your legs. It will make it easier and create a nicer surface for the razor to do it's job. Using body scrubs on the skin is a prefect way of exfoliate the skin or using exfoliating gloves. I would recommend to any the Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub, it smells so good. Here's a link to it so you can check it out for yourself.

Always use shaving gel or cream when shaving and if not you should run out of shaving gel then use conditioner. It works a treat.

When it comes to razors go for ones that have a hydration strip on it. I personally go for male razors because they are designed to be use on the face and that the individual blades are closure together. Which will give you a cleaner shave and as well male razors are cheaper.

Changing your razor regularly has to be one of the biggest way to help with keeping your legs smooth. Old razors will cause you to have a nicks and razor burn on the skin.

Hydrating the skin is important post shave, remember to place a body cream that contains shea butter. Do this as soon as you get out the shower, don't do what I do which is sit in your towel for hours and then get yourself ready. Body oils are a prefect way to help the skin if you aren't into the moisturisers. I love using the Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Spray Moisturiser, it's so easy to apply and it sinks into the skin quickly.

I sometimes find it best to leave your leg hair to grow a little bit before shaving. Now when I say this I don't mean have a set of Chewbacca legs, just don't shave everyday if you are able too.

If you have any tricks to keeping your legs smooth then leave them as a comment below.

Boots Botanics Radiance Concentrate Serum Review

Welcome back guys! I'm very excited to see just start talking about this Boots Botanics Radiance Concentrate Serum.

This serum is something that I wanted to include on my routine heading into the summer, because I want to have my skin looking brighter and looking a lot more healthier.

This product is designed to be used after washing your face and before moisturising. I do love the thought of this product brightening the dark areas of my skin. I do suffer with dark skin down the sides of my face that I would love to make lighter and brighter. I'm very self aware of my darker skin that is on my face.

Now I've only been using this for a couple of days so I've not noticed a major difference within my skin. However I will keep you guys updated on how my skin is looking. What I've noticed so far with the product, it hasn't dried out my skin and it hasn't made break out either which I'm so glad about because of the fact that I suffer with such sensitive skin anyway.

I forgot what this product cost me when purchasing it with in store however I think it was around £4.

Have you used this product before? Or any of the Boots Botanics range? Let me know below! What's your favourite brightening or general skin serum to use on your skin?

No 7 Beautiful Skin Radiance Exfoliator Review

So I have been digging around in the many boxes of beauty products & throwing out stuff that is old. When I came across this little gem. This gem came out of the No 7 Christmas Advent Calendar for 2015. I decided to give it a try because I left like my skin care routine needed a switch up due to my skin had started to become dry and horrible.

This product is really really nice and has fitted into my skin care routine so easily. I'm amazed at the fact it has helped m skin so much. I love using this of a night time to make sure my makeup is completely off my skin. I usually find that my other skin care washes don't always work as well as this when taking my makeup off.

If you are wondering the micro beads that are in the formula, are not very rough and are very gentle at exfoliating the skin. It's definitely suitable for sensitive skin and it hasn't irritated mine at all. I find that a lot of product irritate my skin, I have to find the right balance.

This product was only a sample size but I have using it for the last 2 weeks and I think I would still have around a weeks worth of product still in the tube. I haven't seen this product on the shelves in Boots when I've been shopping which has been a real bummer because I would recommend it so much.

If you know where I can get my hands on this product please let me know! I want it to be in my skin care routine all the time.

What's your favourite skin care product that you use within your routine? Please let me know, I love finding new products!

See you guys on Friday with another post!

I Hate This Technic Matte Eyeshadow Palette..

This is a little eye shadow palette that I'm so disappointed in unfortunately! I don't like saying it but it's something that I'm staying away from because it's just blurghh!

So this eyeshadow palette is one that I showed in a haul a couple of months ago now. I'm not going to lie I forgot about it until I started sorting out my makeup collection. This palette is the Technic Matte Eyeshadow Palette in Grey. It only cost something like £3. So it's cheap and definitely not cheerful.

I'm not going to lie I liked the pallete because of the fact that it has a range of colours that are the ones that I find I'm forever needing to help create that smokey eye look. However these crumbled and flaked of quicker than I can say a good thing about the product.

The formula is horrendous, it's crumbles in the pan after you've put a brush in it. The pigmentation is about as good as a pig flying. I've swatched the colours above and every single one of them was disappointing.  I was trying to be a bit positive when I first got them but now I have rediscovered it in my collection I hate it so much. I want to throw it in the bin however I don't want to waste the money.

I wish I had tried this in a store before buying it from boohoo.com which is where I found this brand. That I know of TK Maxx also stock them and I wouldn't spend the couple of pounds that it's worth on it. I would go and buy some Makeup Revolution bits if I was you.

I have got another eyeshadow pallete from them and it's just as bad. I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole if I was you.

Have you tried this brand? If so let me know what your thoughts are. Mine are all bad... Sorry Technic, it could be done a bit differently.

Until Next Time,
Kim

The Beauty Blogger Tag

This is the first time I've ever heard of this tag but the lovely Eleanor from Eleanor - Graceful have tagged me in this lovely tag. So Eleanor has asked me to answer these 10 questions then I will tag other beauty bloggers to answer 10 questions that I have listed below. Let's get into this then.

1. What is a beauty tip you would like to share?

Ooo there are so many beauty tips that I use to help however I think that having Q-tips are a must in a handbag or clutch. I love having Q-Tips in my handbag because if my mascara or eyeshadow has smudge I can tidy it up by using a Q-Tip and some water or Micellar water, without creating to much of a mess.

2. If you could tell your 16 year old self anything about beauty, what would it be?

I would tell myself to actually start wearing makeup. I only start really wearing makeup when I was 18/19 years old. I feel like I was a late bloomer into the world of makeup, I was a right tom boy when it came to my appearance until I was like 18/19 years old.  Tristan was a big help with my entering into the world of makeup surprisingly, he helped me choose things and didn't care whether I wore it or not. If he could love me when I would wake up at 2:30am to go to work with no makeup on, then his a man that can deal with me wearing makeup too!

3. What is your go-to foundation?

I have one go to foundation which is the Revlon Color Stay in the shade 150 Buff. It's the most amazing matte finish.

4. What is your nighttime skin regime?

I'm really bad at having a night time routine considering that I don't get home from work until just gone midnight so by the time I get home I'm tired to do anything! I'm not going to lie! It's normally a baby wipe if I remember!  Please don't judge me on that one!

5. What beauty product can you not live without?

Would you class perfume as a beauty product. Probably not. I do love my perfume though! I feel like I'm complete when I have mascara on even if I have no foundation on.

6. What bloggers inspire you?

This list could go on for literally ever. However lets shrink it down to a small handful! I absolutely love Monste from Monsteurbeauty, Vix from Vix Meldrew, Holly from Holly Castell, Aime Hayward,

7. How long have you been writing your beauty blog and why did you start it?

I have only been blogging since last September, I'm fairly new at this compared to some people in the blogging community. It started blogging as I wanted to find something to do that didn't destroy my body! I played way to much sport growing up and it's taken a horrible toll on my body! I literally use to do around 40 hours of sport a week, and my knees they are screwed from it all. I bare go a day no without having some form of support on my body just to get through the day!

8. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?

This is a hard question for me to answer because if I'm going to work it will take about 15 to do makeup and get dressed and do my usual messy bun for work! Cmon I haven't got to look pretty for my job, I work in a warehouse! I'm one of the "lads" most of the time with the types of conversations that happen. Well I'm completely off topic! Sorry! If I'm getting ready for a day of shopping or a lunch date with Tristan then it could take me up to an hour if not longer to be ready because it can take me 45 minutes just to straighten my hair. It's way too long.

9. Statement lip or statement eye?

Hands down this has to be a statement eye look. I find the first thing I look at when I see someone's is their eyes! I find it an easier thing to do for myself personally! I'm not one for bold lip looks because I am too scared to wear bold lip looks and my lips are forever dry I apply lip balm like it's going out of fashion daily!

10. Are there any beauty looks that you are ashamed of?
I'm not sure what you by this, however I don't quite understand why woman contour themselves so much that they don't even look like themselves anymore. Especially why do women contour their boobs! I understand you want to add depth and dimension to the face but you don't want to alter the way you look completely!

Now I have tagged the following lovelies within this tag post, I'm going to take some youtubers in this because I think it would be lovely to see them take part in this tag.

Leah from Leahxo
Leah from LeahXL
Christina from Xtina G Says
Lisa from Lisa G
Leonni from Leonni's Little Blog
Laura from What Laura Blogged Next
Monste from Beauteur
Saira from Through The Glitter Glass

What I would love to know!

1.  If you could only use one product on your face in your makeup routine, what would you use?
2. What is your everyday look consist of?
3. Are you more high street brands or high end luxury?
4. What is your must have, top shelf makeup product in your collection?
5. What is your favourite brush in your collection?
6. Skin care routine is as important, what is your skin care routine?
7. What is your least favourite part of your beauty routine?
8. Try to be honest about this one, how long does it take you to get ready?
9. Do you have a beauty wishlist? If so let me know what's in your wishlist.
10. Are you on the beauty trends like a hawk, or you like a sloth when jumping onto the band wagon?

I can't wait to see your responses! I hope you have a fabulous day!

Garnier Fresh Essentials 24Hr Hydrating Day Cream

Hey guys! I'm back with a little beauty post featuring this Garnier Fresh Essentials 24hr Hydrating Day Cream. I'm on a hunt for a new facial moisturiser. Whilst nipping into the supermarket to pick up some nibble bits, I found myself down the Health & Beauty aisle and I picked up this day cream From Garnier.

It is designed for normal/combination skin which is what I have, plus it is enriched with Grape Water. Grape Water is perfect for helping the skin becoming more refreshed and it full with anti-oxidants & vitamin E.

I found it to be very hydrating & I loved the feel of it after using it. I thought this was a product that would be kept on my top shelf off my beauty table. That was until I woke up and the following morning I woke to find I had broke out so badly. I hadn't changed any part of my skin care routine nor had I eaten a large amount of junk food either.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has sensitive skin like myself because it caused me to break out so badly. It was fairly cheap I think it was £3 from Tesco's. So it's a cheap product.

Scented Monday's

Can you smell that... nope me neither! I've got a blocked nose and a stupid cold. However what I do know what smells delicious and just amazing this new perfume that I can't get enough off is Giorgio Armani Si!

This perfume comes with a hefty price tag on it. I've got the Eau De Toilette version of this perfume and I think it costs around £54 for a 50ml bottle. For a 50ml perfume version of the bottle it will set you back around £70. However you are paying for the brand in my eyes.

The perfume I can't fault at all, it's a very mature scent in my eyes. I see this as a scent that I would where for a family gathering or to a wedding because it has a classy scent to it. I hope I'm making sense with what I'm saying here! It's difficult to describe a scent without saying it's got hints of sandalwood or some flower that no one has ever heard of before! Basically it smells beautiful in my opinion.

This is a product that I would splurge on and only use on special occasions this isn't something that I could where everyday unlike my trusty, Ghost - The Original! Now that is an amazing scent that is very purse friendly in my eyes.

Anyway back on topic of the Giorgio Armani Si Perfume, I would recommend this fragrance to anyone who is looking for a more maturer scent or something that's a bit different to their normal fragrances. My personal choice in fragrances is to have a very sweet scent however this isn't as sweet as the others in my collection.

So I hope you ready to go buying this fragrance.. Boot's Advantage Card at the ready! GO!! haha! Right guys, I will see you soon in a couple of days time. Until then, stay safe and awesome!

Much Love

NEW! REVLON MASCARA LAUNCH!

I'm a massive fan of Revlon and when I noticed that they had launch 4 mascaras at the same time I knew I had to go out and get them all. I absolutely loveeeee the concept of these mascaras.

I literally picked up these mascara's yesterday so I haven't tried them out yet so you guys will get an updated post in a couple of weeks. However you can purchase these in Boots right now for £6.99 because they are on a £3 off sale.

If you could only pick only out the collection I would personally purchase the Super Length Mascara. This is the green lidded one. The wand on this mascara is amazing and it looks like a brilliant wand. It's massive and has very long bristles on it, I can't get enough of it.

I'm sorry there isn't much information on this post however as I said there will be an update post on this in a couple of weeks once I've trailed them.

Hope you are all well and I will see you in a couple of weeks. I will see you soon! I love you guys loads. Until next time.

Is It A Bird? Is It A Plane? No It's Classic Carmex Lip Balm!

Don't you hate it when nothing more than dry lips. I think it's something that we all have to face at some point during the winter months. My Maybelline Baby Lips Hydrating lip balm does wonders for my lips however I personally find that I'm needing something more heavy duty. This is where this bad boy makes an entrance onto the scene.

I was having a day where my lips were just cracking and starting to split because they were so dry that I had to go and get this Carmex Lip Balm.

This product works wonders, it's very moisturising which is obviously what I wanted it to do. I personally find that the scent of it is horrible. It's got a menthol scent and I said to my mum I feel like I've just put Vick's Vapour Rub on my lips. It made me want to vom a little bit.

I find that this lip balm is something that I use when I'm desperate for something to work it's magical on me. I use it of a night time because it is very long lasting and my lips feel very hydrated when I wake up in the morning.

The product is very cheap, I think it cost me about £2.99. It can be found everywhere. I would check out the other scents they do as well. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Have a good day. Let me know what's your favourite lip balm below? See you guys soon.
Much love.

Kiko Pearly Eye Base Primer Review

Hello there! *waves excitedly* I'm back with a beauty product review. If you are wondering my blog has taken a slightly different route in what I've posted recently. I absolutely love beauty products and I love reviewing them however, I find myself talking about the same product as other bloggers out there. I know it's always going to happen especially if it's a popular brand. It's been nice taking a step away from the beauty posts and doing a bit of life and photography posts instead. I've waffled on way too much already so lets get into the product. *hoping you're still reading and haven't clicked off.* haha.

In a recent Kiko haul I done I purchased this little gem of a beauty. It's the Kiko Pearly Eye Base Primer. This is the only eye primer that I own in my makeup collection. Shock Horror!

It definitely does do what I expect it to do. It does help give a bit more of a shine or as it's states a 'pearl' effect to the eye shadow when laid over the top. I do find it very easy to work into the skin and is not drying to my eyelids. I do suffer with dry eye lids which is so strange. It's a weird place to get a dry patch on.

I believe that the product costs around £6.90 which I think is a good price for the quality of the product.  I do feel like it will last me a really long time because I'm not one for the wearing a lot of eye make up very often. I work 5 days a week where I only wear foundation. I really don't have to look "presentable" all the time!! haha. I pretty lazy when it comes to makeup, the less I have to do the better it is for me! haha!

I would reccomend this product to you! It's a brilliant quality product. What eye primers would you recommend for me to try? What's your favourite?
Until next time
Much Love

I Desire Candles

Hellooooo everyone! I hope you guys are okay today? I feel like I haven't spoken to you guys in so long, even though I only posted 2 days ago anyway I will get into this.

My mum went shopping the other day and she came home with a shed load of new candles that come in this very cute mason jar. They would look amazing on someone office table.

When she pulled out this Cucumber and Watermelon scented candle, I was so excited because my favourite scent at the moment is cucumber so I was just as excited to smell it. IT SMELLS SOOOOOO GOOD!

Talking to my mum about the candles, she told me that she went to a shop called 'Choice' which is at one of the shopping centers in my local area. However I don't know whether they are in other areas of the UK. If not go Desire Candles Website you can buy from their own website. She said they cost £2.99 however there was a multi buy on them so she brought around 8 or 10 different candles.

My mum brought many different scents which all smelt the way they were described however butter cream scented candle which seems more like a cinnamon scent in my opinion.

I really do that the candle comes within a really cute mason jar. I feel like when the candle burns out you can clean it and then re use the jar for your brushes or pencils for example.

I personally find that they don't have much of a scent when burning them compared to other candle brands like, Village candle and Yankee candle. However they are so cute and they are cheap so you can't expect too much from them scent wise.

I have never heard of this candle brand before, however I feel like I've been keeping an eye out just in case I see Desire else where in other shops.

I'm going to be hopefully doing a candle haul in a few days over on my YT channel so keep an eye out for that coming up.

Until Next Time

Creighton Beauty

I've recently found the brand, Creighton Beauty whilst I was on shopping in Tesco's. I was quite excited to find this brand because of how purse friendly they are compared to other hair care company's out there.

I've only picked up the 2 product lines that were stock by the shop I went into, however after doing a bit of research about the company I found that they stock more hair care lines upon their website. What I found more exciting was the fact that I also found that they sell skin care products too. I had to stop myself buying them all because I would of spent a fortune of them.

So I'm going to jump into this, I pick up the Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner and I've used this on my hair and this stuff works so well and I can't believe how well it works. My hair felt very nourished after using it and felt a little bit more nourished compared to using some hair care products.

I also brought the Keratin Pro shampoo and conditioner however I did a whoopies and I left one of the bottles at the self checkout bit in Tesco's. *face palm* I felt like an idiot when I got home and noticed however I didn't bother going back to get it! haha! I'm so lazy!

I would personally put this shampoo and conditioner brand on par with Tresemme and Toni & Guy's hair care lines. I've saved the best thing about this company till last. It is literally a £1. YES £1 A BOTTLE. It's amazing value for the quality of product that is inside the bottle. I love it a lot. I really do think that it is the worth the money! It's so purse friendly and I think that everyone would be able pick up a bottle and try out their products.

I would love to try out their skin are products however that will have to wait for next payday.

Until next time
