Freeman Cucumber Peel Off Mask

This is something that I have lately become addicted to using them. Freeman mask is so nice for my skin and helpings lift dirt and moisturises my skin is nicely when it's having its bad days. I will do one of these masks every week often on a night in with my other half.

It retails for about £1.50 which is very good value for money especially when you can get between 2 to 4 masks out of one packet. These can be purchased at Tesco's. I normally get 2 because I do one and so does Tristan! We are both such divas when it comes to our facial routines.
I love that feeling when your peeling off the mask after it's been on for about 10 minutes it makes me feel like I've just peeled off the dead layer of skin on my face. It's just beautiful, just like the name of it.
I would recommend, if someone was looking for a high street or drug store face musk because it ticks so many of the boxes.

Freemans do have a more of a selection of face masks but this the only one that I have personally tried. I will definitely be picking up there other ones soon. Is there any face masks that you guys would recommend, if so let me know below in the comments section

Simple Vs Clean&Clear

I've been using Clean&Clear Dual Action Moisturiser for a couple of years now and I thought I would change it up and use Simple Kind To Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser which I have been using for the last 6 weeks now.

I thought I would do a comparison of the two products. Clean&Clear is a very well known company for skin care but I feel like Simple, over the last year or so has been out shining them. Simple is well know for the minimal ingredients within there products. From this persona they have they portray makes us there customers believe, there products are better for the skin due to the lower ingredients within there products.

Price

I personally purchase my skin beauty products from Boots so it maybe cheaper in other places. Simple costs £4.19 for a 125ml bottle and Clean&Clear costs £3.20 for a 100ml bottle.Price side of things the Clean&Clear is cheap for the amount of product you get and the cost of the product.

So thats one to Clean&Clear, zero to Simple.

Texture

The texture of the product is very important to me when it comes to moisturiser because of the fact I want something that feels light on the skin and doesn't feel too heavy and sinks nicely into the skin. Simple does exactly what I want it to do, the fact that the product is fairly light and takes a couple of minutes to settle into the skin. I don't personally find it too sticky compared unlike Clean&Clear that to me is so sticky. I personally find the Clean&Clear too heavy on my skin and that it just sits on my skin it doesn't sink in very well.

One all.

Packaging

This might be seen as an odd thing to review a product on but i always believe that the packaging of a product will reflect on the quality of the product inside.

i found the packaging on the Clean&Clear to be very basic. its just a simple squeezy bottle/tube. Whereas with Simple the product is packaged within a box and within the box you'll find a bottle. This sort of packaging attracts me personally, its very simple and clean packaging. I prefer things that have been boxed up an protected a little.

So for packaging Simple takes the lead. 2 - 1 to Simple.

Results

Simple is a rich moisturiser and does exactly what it says on the bottle, its a deep moisturiser. I suffer with dry skin on the sides of my face and Clean&Clear would help moisture them for a couple of hours and they would start to flake under my make up and it was just blurghh. Awful. I find that Simple moisturises all day and my make up sits nicely on my face after using it.

Winner is Simple with a 3 - 1 lead to Clean&Clear.

I think its pretty obvious on who I'm loving most out of Clean&Clear and Simple.
Simple is just a nice product, good packaging, does what its says.

Clean&Clear is good but Simple is slowly becoming my new favourite skin brand.

Until next time.

Skin Care Tips

Looking after your skin is very important. It's the biggest organisms that we have, and often is the main thing that causes us issues. Whether it's issues like dry skin, oily skin or blemish prone skin, lots of people in the world have a issues with their skin.

My skin isn't perfect, I have my flaws. I have suffer with breakouts and have large pores. The skin on my upper arms can become dry for no apparent reason.

Here's a few tips on skin care:

- Shea butter can be used to help soften skin & reduce inflammation. Also it can help the appearance of scars.

- Suffer with ingrown hairs? The best solution for this to exfoliate your skin to remove the dead skin cell which can cause the ingrowing hairs!

- Shaving can also cause ingrowing hairs. I find that the best thing to do is to exfoliate the skin before you've shaved. With waxing, I recommend exfoliating the day before you are going to wax. Make sure you are not shaving with a dull razor, dull or old razors can cause more harm than good!

- Reducing the amount of sugary drink in take, this help with the reducing the amount of blemishes you develop. Replace sugary drinks with water, water is your best friend for you skin! Try to drink around 2 litres of water per day. If you are going to drink sugary drinks like coke or fanta then equal it out by drinking the same amount of water as you do fizzy.

- Wanting to reduce the appearance and redness of acne breakouts then place a ice cubes on the area.

- Suffering with random breakouts of acne, it could be that your makeup brushes or sponges are needing to be cleaned. Brushes and sponges are a breeding ground for bacteria. When left uncleaned the bacteria will just multiply and cause problems. So clean your brushes and sponges, girls!

- Eating fatty acids will help your skin appearance. Helping your skin or look a bit plumper and younger. Getting out there and start eating things such as salmon and avocados.

- Eating foods that are high in amino acids will help with the collagen production within the body.

- When moisturising your body try and use moisturisers which don't have a scent to them. Yes, I know I'm a sucker for scented things, however, the perfume within the moisturiser can affect the PH level within the skin causing irritation and redness.

If these tips are helpful to you then use them and spread the word! I'm no skin guru to say the least, these tips which help me! If you have skin care tips yourself that you would like to share then please leave a comment below.

Until next time!

Winter Skin Care

With the cold winds and scarfs and thick fluffy socks at the ready, it can only mean one thing. That winter is coming. (Game of Thrones reference there, haha) Well it will be in a few weeks so I'm preparing myself now for it.

I suffer with dry skin and its made worse within the winter time due to the coldness. It is also effected by the fact I work in a dry and sometimes humid warehouse and my hands suffer the most because I'm consistently picking things up and pushing heavy things.

So for the dry patches I get on my arms and my legs I use Nivea Body Moisturiser Rich Nourishing for Dry Skin! This moisturiser has Almond Oil within it which helps soften the skin and helps to restore the moisture. This Nivea moisturiser has what they call Hydra IQ which is meant to  help promote a non-stop moisture supply within the skin! All I'm going to say is that this product works fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone that suffers with dry skin! This is quite a big bottle and it has last me ages, I can't actually remember when I brought this but I think I've had it since about August and it's still going strong.

I suffer with dry skin on my face from time to time, so I use a Clean&Clear Dual Action Moisturiser! This moisturiser will be what I use during my skincare routine but sometimes I don't use it because I forgot or just can't be bothered to use it. However when I don't use it, I suffer with dry skin so this is a another life saver. It's designed for obviously moisturising as well as helps prevent spots and blemishes from appearing! But another great moisturers!

My hands is what gets dry the most and this is because I use them a lot at work by picking things up and pushing heavy objects around for 8 hours a day! I use 3 different hand moisturisers dependent on what my hands are needing!

1. Vaseline - Healthy Hands + Stronger Nails
This moisturiser is brilliant because it is multi purpose product due to it being designed both moisturising the skin as well as help strengthing the nails by up to 50%. This hand cream contains Keratin + Stratys-3 which combined helps moisturisers not just the top layers of skin but the core and deep down layers too.

2. Garnier Hand - Intensive 7 Days Hand Cream HYDRATING.
This hand cream is designed for normal to dry skin. This moisturiser is an ultra-hydrating formula which is enriched with L-Bifidus and Aloe Vera which helps sooth the skin and restore the moisture and natural skin quality. Everyone knows that aloe vera is full of vitamins and minerals which are hydrating properties.

3. Garnier Hand - Intensive 7 Days Hand Cream RESTORING.
This hand cream is designed for dry and chapped hands. This hand cream has L-Bifidus and Shea Butter to help intensively replenish hands with moisture making them feel supple and soft.

All the hand products above I would recommend to anyone this is due to the pure fact that it all of them help me maintain and care for my skin and nails.

All the products above are so good that I can't put into words how good they are. I LOVE them all! Hope you enjoyed and if you have got your own skin care products that you use that you want to share then please leave a comment below.

Until next time!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I'm always looking for new products for my skin for that I can use whilst taking my makeup off. My skin is really sensitive on my face at times, so using some products can cause my skin to become irritated and make me feel uncomfortable. When ever my skin is playing up I always think that everyone is looking at me even though they aren't.

The product retails for £4.99 at Boots for a 400ml bottle!

Anyway, I used this product and it does remove makeup very well. Even though I had to use loads of the product for it to get most of my makeup off. I love the fact that there isn't any perfume in the product so there's no irritants there. It's just like using water! So I call it the Holy Water!

The only thing I didn't like about this product is that when I used it on my eyes to remove eye makeup, it smudged it, more than anything. I had to keep getting a clean cotton pad with the Micellar water on it and keep wiping my eyes loads.

I personally use this product to begin with, then I use a Clean&Clear Deep Cleanising Lotion to make sure that all the makeup is off! I will often wash my face afterwards with a Clean&Clear face wash and exfoliating daily wash to make your my pores are definitely unblocked.

If your looking for a make up removing product that is good for sensitive skin then this is the product for you!

I hope you guys enjoyed this! Please leave a comment below about your experience with this product and what you love or dislike it about it.

Until next time!
